Manpower supply is a different contract, not a bigger one

Manpower supply and guarding services are sold by the same companies and confused constantly — but they allocate responsibility very differently, and that is the whole point of choosing between them.

The distinction that matters

Guarding services: you buy an outcome. We design the coverage, write the post orders, supervise the guards, and answer for the result.

Manpower supply: you buy capacity. You have your own security management, your own procedures, your own post orders. You need qualified, licensed, GOSI-registered personnel to operate inside your system — and you direct them.

Choose manpower supply when

• You have an in-house security manager and established procedures.
• Headcount needs to flex with project phases — up for peak construction, down for handover.
• You are running a large project and need volume, consistently, over a long period.
• Your client or principal contractor mandates their procedures, not a vendor's.

What stays our responsibility regardless

This is the part clients get wrong. Even under a supply model, we remain the legal employer. Licensing, security vetting, training, GOSI registration and Saudization compliance sit with us. You direct the work; you do not inherit the employment liability.

A "supplier" who pushes those obligations onto you is not offering manpower supply. They are offering you their regulatory exposure.

The clause everyone forgets

Replacement. A guard does not show up — what happens? Within how many hours is a replacement on site, and who pays for the gap?

Get this written into the contract with a stated time limit. "As soon as possible" is not a term; it is an apology drafted in advance.
